Kaylia Nemour Makes History with Gold on Uneven Bars

Following a dispute that led the French-Algerian dual national Kaylia Nemour to leave the French team and compete for Algeria, the gymnast has achieved a historic victory by winning gold on the uneven bars at the Paris 2024 Olympics. With this win, Nemour not only becomes the first African gymnast to secure an Olympic medal but also the sixth Algerian to claim gold since the country's debut at the Games in 1964.
