SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nikola Jokic once again led the way for the Denver Nuggets, scoring 35 points and grabbing 15 rebounds as Denver defeated the Sacramento Kings 122–108 on Tuesday night, extending their winning streak to five games. Jamal Murray added 23 points for Denver, which continued its hot start to the season behind dominant play from its All-Star duo. Aaron Gordon contributed 17 points, while Bruce Brown provided a spark off the bench with 14 points. The Nuggets trailed by one after the first quarter but took control late in the second, securing the lead for good with 1:45 remaining before halftime. Denver’s balanced attack and strong rebounding effort helped them build a 101–86 advantage in the fourth quarter, fueled by a decisive 16–2 run. Denver outrebounded Sacramento 48–35 and shot an efficient 51 percent from the field. Jokic’s performance marked yet another example of his MVP-caliber consistency, anchoring both ends of the floor while facilitating Denver’s offensive rhythm. For Sacramento, Domantas Sabonis led the team with 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Drew Eubanks matched him with 19 points and seven rebounds off the bench. DeMar DeRozan chipped in 18 points, and Russell Westbrook added 14, but the Kings struggled to maintain momentum down the stretch, suffering their third consecutive loss.

The Kings briefly led early, but Denver’s depth and execution proved too much. The Nuggets’ defense tightened in the second half, limiting Sacramento’s second-chance opportunities and transition looks. With the win, Denver improves its standing in the Western Conference as the reigning champions continue to find rhythm on both ends of the court.

Up Next: Denver travels to face the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, while Sacramento returns home to host Atlanta.
