Tyreek Hill Shares Recovery Update, Says He Still Has "No Power" in Injured Leg.

Free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill provided a candid update on his recovery this week, revealing that he is still working to regain strength in his left leg nearly 10 months after suffering a devastating knee injury. In a workout video posted to his YouTube channel on Wednesday, Hill said he continues to experience significant weakness in the leg that was injured during Week 4 of last season against the New York Jets. "My left leg is the one that I injured," Hill said. "I have no power in my left leg, so I'm trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it's one day at a time." The injury required two surgeries after Hill dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments. Now 10 months into his rehabilitation, the 32-year-old said his progress has been encouraging despite the challenges. Hill revealed that doctors initially warned him his injury was so severe that he "might not be able to walk again." He said he now feels much better and is focused on continuing his recovery one day at a time. The video showed Hill going through a variety of training drills, including strength work and short running exercises. He admitted he has started running earlier than recommended. "I'm not supposed to be running yet," Hill said with a smile, "but I like to challenge myself a little bit."

Hill became a free agent for the first time in his 10-year NFL career after the Miami Dolphins released him in February. Shortly after his release, he vowed that "The Cheetah will be back," expressing confidence that he would return to the field. While Hill did not provide a specific timetable for his return to football, he remains optimistic about his progress. "I ain't going to tell you what my timeline is," Hill said, "but timeline looking real good right now." No team has signed Hill as he continues his rehabilitation, but the eight-time Pro Bowl receiver appears focused on returning to full strength before making his NFL comeback.
