Tyler Tanner recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead Vanderbilt to a convincing 74-51 victory over Wake Forest on Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee. The Commodores improved to 2-0 and extended their active nonconference winning streak to 21 consecutive games, the longest current streak in the nation. Ace Glass III contributed 16 points for Vanderbilt, while Anthony Brown Jr. finished with 14 and Chandler Bing added 13. Kevair Kennedy paced Wake Forest with a game-high 20 points as the Demon Deacons dropped to 1-1. Vanderbilt maintained control throughout the contest, with Tanner delivering another important basket late in the game. His driving layup with 3:43 remaining pushed the Commodores' advantage to 65-47 and helped put the result further out of reach.

Thursday's matchup marked the second meeting in a home-and-home series between the programs. Vanderbilt also dominated the first contest, earning a 98-27 road victory over Wake Forest.

Both teams will return to action Tuesday night. Wake Forest is scheduled to host Charleston Southern, while Vanderbilt will welcome Memphis.
