Why Nuggets’ David Adelman Is Optimistic About Aaron Gordon’s Hamstring Strain.

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon suffered a setback with his right hamstring during Friday night’s 102–100 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Gordon had recently returned from a hamstring injury before aggravating the same area in the win. Despite the re-injury, Nuggets head coach David Adelman expressed optimism about Gordon’s condition. Adelman told reporters that Gordon would undergo a full medical evaluation on Saturday to determine the severity of the strain. According to Altitude TV reporter Kathy Winge, Adelman does not believe the injury is serious. He explained that the team followed proper procedures before allowing Gordon to play, including conducting a stress test that indicated Gordon was ready.

Adelman emphasized that no mistakes were made in the decision to have Gordon return to action. The Nuggets are expected to provide an official update on Gordon’s status later in the weekend.
