Colorado Buffs were present at the Big 12 media day in Texas there was a lot of speculation if coach Prime would be in attendance.Well he was but coach Deion Sanders was not there to talk about his health concerns he was focused on the team and the upcoming season.  Sanders said he feels ready to return and feels healthy despite missing public events recently. Many Speculate that the Buffs are still going to shine in the spotlight with key players leaving due to the NFL draft. There is still a lot of belief for Cu from the community but the Buffs and coach Deion are prepared for the new season . The Colorado Buffs recruiting process has been off the charts ever since the signing  of coach Prime. Here are some key factors of why the Buffaloes are still in the mix and will compete in the 2025 season. The Buffs new quarterback situation is difficult but both qb’s are ready to go. Deion stated “we are not afraid to start either quarterback or even play them both.’’ The transfer from Liberty Salter was dynamic last season (3500+ total passing yards 40+TD’s) . Then the five star Juju Lewis is on the rise and will be ready whether it's this season or in the future for Colorado.

The Colorado Buffs have made major upgrades to their offensive line, getting five star Jordan Seaton and transfer TY’ Kieast Arkansas transfer. With newly committed Xavier Payne the protection looks to be solid in the upcoming season. The Cu Buffs along with Coach Primes ability to transfer players to Colorado the Buffs have sold out season tickets for the third consecutive year in the coach Prime era. The Buffs are looking good and ready to roll for the new season.  The experience of coach Prime and the staff at Colorado is what will give the Buffaloes some edge but the urge to stay in the mix in the Big 12.
