LONDON, England — The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a dramatic 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as kicker Cam Little connected on a 57-yard field goal as time expired. Jacksonville (4-1) appeared headed for defeat after Philadelphia took a 17-16 lead on Jake Elliott’s 48-yard field goal with eight seconds remaining. However, Ameer Abdullah delivered a crucial 53-yard kickoff return, giving the Jaguars one final opportunity with one second left. Little capitalized, drilling the game-winning kick to complete an impressive comeback. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence finished with 331 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception, completing 24 of 39 attempts. Wide receiver Parker Washington led Jacksonville’s receiving attack with six catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns, including a 51-yard score in the first quarter.

Philadelphia (2-3) struggled offensively without running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver DeVonta Smith. Quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 21 of 40 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown, while the Eagles managed just 22 rushing yards. The Eagles held a 14-7 halftime advantage following touchdowns by Will Shipley and Darius Cooper. Jacksonville gradually closed the gap before Washington’s 27-yard touchdown reception gave the Jaguars a late lead. However, Little missed the extra-point attempt, allowing Philadelphia to move ahead on Elliott’s field goal. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni accepted responsibility for the late-game kickoff decision that allowed Jacksonville to get into field-goal range.

The victory improved Jacksonville’s record to 4-1, while Philadelphia dropped to 2-3.

Up Next: The Jaguars remain in London to face the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium next Sunday, while the Eagles return home to host the Carolina Panthers.
