Colorado Mammoth comeback victory of 11-7 against Vancouver during the LOUD HOUSE home opener.

The Colorado Mammoth achieved an impressive comeback by scoring eight consecutive goals, overcoming a five-goal deficit against the Warriors, and ultimately securing an 11-7 victory in front of 10,245 enthusiastic fans in the Mile High City. Vancouver maintained the lead for the first three quarters; however, they were outscored 10-1 in the second half, including a scoreless final fifteen minutes, allowing Colorado to clinch the win on opening night.


The resurgence of Colorado negatively impacted the beginning of the season for second-year player Owen Grant. In the defeat, Grant netted three goals, including two while his team was at a disadvantage, recorded a team-leading eleven loose balls, and blocked four shots. Other contributors for Vancouver included Keegan Bal, who scored twice, along with Adam Charalambides and Marcus Klarich. Following this loss, the Warriors' record stands at 0-1, and they will enter a bye week before commencing their home schedule against the Rochester Knighthawks.


Connor Kelly led the Mammoth in scoring with a total of seven points, comprising four goals and three assists. Zed Williams and Will Malcom each added four points to the team's success, with Williams recording three goals and one assist, while Malcom contributed four assists without scoring. Eli McLaughlin completed the primary scoring with three assists, and Thomas Vela marked his season debut with two goals. In goal, Dillon Ward achieved his first win of the season by saving 35 of 42 shots faced.


With his 319th career assist, McLaughlin has officially moved into the second position in the Mammoth franchise's all-time records for assists, now holding the distinction of having the second-most assists in Colorado Mammoth history.
