BOULDER, Colo. — Colorado extended its undefeated start to the season on Monday night with a dominant 94–66 win over Alabama State, powered by a balanced offensive performance highlighted by Bangot Dak. Dak led the Buffaloes with 16 points, while Sebastian Rancik added 14 points after converting all ten of his free-throw attempts.
The Buffaloes (4–0) relied heavily on depth, finishing with 12 players in the scoring column. Key contributions came from reserves Isaiah Johnson, Alon Michaeli, and Josiah Sanders, each of whom scored 10 points. Despite shooting only 38 percent from three-point range (6 of 16), Colorado compensated with strong overall efficiency, hitting 54 percent of their field-goal attempts (30 of 56).
Alabama State (2–2) received productive bench play of its own. Asjon Anderson recorded 15 points, while Cameron Palesse added 13 and Tyler Mason chipped in 11. However, the Hornets were unable to recover from Colorado’s overwhelming early surge.
Colorado opened the game with a commanding 32–9 run in the first ten minutes and maintained control for the remainder of the contest. The matchup marked the first meeting between the two programs.
