BOULDER, Colo. — Bangot Dak erupted for 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting as Colorado overpowered UC Davis 95–79 on Sunday. The Aggies (4-2) briefly threatened to flip the game when they tied it 54–54 with 13:27 remaining. Colorado (5-0) responded immediately, with Dak hammering home a dunk, Felix Kossaras scoring inside, and Barrington Hargress finishing at the rim on a three-possession surge that rebuilt the lead and signaled the game’s decisive turn. Kossaras contributed 17 points, including a pair of three-pointers, during Colorado’s second-half pullaway. Sebastian Rancik added 15 points and seven rebounds, while Hargress orchestrated the offense with 13 points and nine assists. The Buffaloes shot an impressive 60 percent (34 of 57) from the field and 60 percent (9 of 15) from beyond the arc.
UC Davis had moments of brilliance as well, with Marcus Wilson scoring 21 points, Niko Rocak adding 19 points on 6-of-7 shooting, and Nils Cooper recording 14 points and nine rebounds to keep the Aggies competitive early.
Colorado’s balanced scoring and efficient shooting ultimately proved too much for UC Davis, preserving the Buffaloes’ unbeaten start to the season.
