The Denver Broncos ever since the Manning era had come to an end have not made the playoffs up until they drafted Quarterback Bo nix from the Oregon Ducks in 2024. The Broncos had a total record of (10-7). During the Broncos mandatory training camp these past few weeks players and coaches have said Bo nix is no longer thinking in the “playbook.” Coach Sean Payton has stated Bo nix is a lot further in development and scanning the field compared to his rookie season last year. During OTA Bo Nix seemed to have better movement in the pocket and footwork during drills, a lot more confidence in his ability to read and make quick decisions. Bo Nix had a total of 3,775 yards, 29 TD’s with 440 rushing yards; these stats put him in third place to win rookie of the year.  The Denver Broncos showed a lot of good signs in the OTA’s leaving Broncos fans a lot to be excited for the 2025 season.  “Sean Payton went as far to say that Bo nix is the franchise QB.” Not only that, the Broncos have made some key moves in free agency this year picking up veteran TE Evan Engram, Talanoa Hufanga, Dre Greenlaw, and some draft slots to fill in some gaps. The Broncos have also improved their offense by adding running backs via free agency. A big name was running back JK Dobbins. Adding their own version of a “joker” to the offense by bringing in some players with experience to hopefully push for another playoff appearance.

Bo Nix and the Broncos making the playoffs last season brought back the hope and excitement to the mile high city and that is what has been missing since the Manning era. The Broncos also look promising on the defensive side of the ball by finishing third place in yards allowed per game and led the league in sacks last season in the NFL. Many say the Broncos have the most improved team this offseason. The Broncos are on the rise this offseason improving the team and only are going up from here. Bo Nix looks to be more confident in his decisions and ability to make plays in OTA’s. The Broncos are on pace to make some serious noise in the AFC but look to make another playoff push this season.
