FAN EXPO Denver 2026 Set to Take Over the Mile High City.

FAN EXPO Denver 2026 will return to the Colorado Convention Center from May 28 through May 31, 2026, bringing thousands of pop culture fans to downtown Denver for one of the Rocky Mountain region’s largest entertainment conventions. The four-day event is expected to attract attendees from across Colorado and beyond for a weekend dedicated to comics, movies, anime, gaming, cosplay, science fiction, horror, and celebrity fandom. Originally founded as Denver Comic Con in 2012, the convention has continued to expand in popularity since joining the FAN EXPO brand in 2021. Organizers expect this year’s convention to feature packed celebrity panels, autograph sessions, cosplay competitions, fan meetups, and a large exhibitor hall filled with collectibles, artwork, gaming merchandise, and memorabilia. One of the convention’s biggest attractions is its celebrity guest lineup. Fans of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring are especially excited for appearances by Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd. Additional featured guests include Orlando Bloom, Matthew Lillard, Karl Urban, Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and Dolph Lundgren. Voice acting legends Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are also scheduled to appear. Both actors are widely recognized for their work in franchises such as Transformers and Scooby-Doo. Another major highlight of the convention is a reunion featuring Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny from The X-Files. Cosplay remains one of the event’s defining attractions. Thousands of fans are expected to arrive dressed as characters from anime, comics, films, and video games. Throughout the weekend, attendees will participate in cosplay competitions, workshops, fan-organized meetups, and themed photo opportunities. Many longtime attendees describe the convention as one of the most welcoming fan communities in the country.

In addition to celebrity appearances and cosplay events, the convention’s exhibitor hall and Artist Alley will provide opportunities for fans to purchase comics, collectibles, original artwork, apparel, and rare memorabilia. Independent artists and creators from across the United States are expected to showcase their work alongside major entertainment vendors.

The event is also expected to generate a significant economic impact for downtown Denver during Memorial Day weekend. Hotels, restaurants, local businesses, and nearby transit systems typically experience increased traffic as fans travel into the city for the convention.

Convention hours will begin at noon on Thursday and continue at 10 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Organizers are encouraging attendees to arrive early for major celebrity signings and popular panel events due to anticipated large crowds. As fandom culture continues to expand globally, FAN EXPO Denver 2026 is expected to once again establish itself as one of the premier pop culture conventions in the United States and one of Denver’s largest entertainment events of the year.
