Golden Lions Edge Tigers 67-64 in Thrilling SWAC Showdown.


GRAMBLING, La. — Quion Williams scored 18 points and dished out nine assists to help the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Golden Lions secure a 67-64 victory over Grambling State on Wednesday night. Milhan Charles contributed 15 points, making five of nine shots from the field and four of eight free throws. Jaquan Scott added 13 points, going four of ten from the field and five of six from the line, while also recording 12 rebounds and three steals. For Grambling State, Antonio Munoz led the Tigers with 26 points and seven rebounds, and Roderick Coffee III added 12 points. With the win, UAPB improved to 9-13 overall and 6-3 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, while Grambling fell to 10-11 overall and 4-4 in conference games.
