The Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets are set to meet Wednesday, November 5, at Ball Arena in Denver, with both teams managing significant injuries to key players. Miami enters the matchup with a 4–3 record, while Denver stands at 4–2, looking to maintain its unbeaten home streak. The Heat will be without guard Tyler Herro, who continues to recover from left ankle surgery. Additionally, Terry Rozier remains on unpaid leave amid a federal gambling investigation. Miami’s developmental depth will also be affected, as Myron Gardner, Vladislav Goldin, and Jahmir Young remain assigned to the G League on two-way contracts. Rookie Kasparas Jakucionis is listed as questionable with a right groin strain, while Nikola Jovic and Norman Powell are expected to play after dealing with minor injuries.

For the Nuggets, Jamal Murray is probable with left calf tightness, a lingering issue that has slightly limited his minutes early in the season. Tamar Bates, Curtis Jones, and DaRon Holmes II will not be available due to G League assignments. Denver will once again look to Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon to set the tone on both ends of the court as the team manages short-term absences. Miami’s early success this season has been largely fueled by Bam Adebayo and Norman Powell, who have stepped up as primary scorers. Adebayo is averaging 22.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, while Powell contributes 23.3 points per contest.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Andrew Wiggins have also provided valuable two-way production, helping stabilize the Heat’s rotation amid roster challenges.

On the other side, Nikola Jokic continues to anchor Denver’s offense with an impressive triple-double average—22.7 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 11.3 assists per game. Murray’s perimeter scoring remains a crucial component for the Nuggets, while Christian Braun and Tim Hardaway Jr. have delivered steady offensive contributions off the bench.

The Heat are coming off a narrow 120–119 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on November 3, while the Nuggets notched a 130–124 win against the Sacramento Kings the same night. Both teams will look to build momentum heading into the midweek clash. Miami holds a 2–0 home record but has struggled on the road at 2–3, while Denver remains unbeaten at home through six games.
