Jaguars Dominate Titans to Secure AFC South Crown.

The Jacksonville Jaguars clinched the AFC South title with a commanding 41–7 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in Jacksonville, completing one of the most successful regular seasons in franchise history. Led by quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the Jaguars earned a home playoff game and extended their winning streak to eight games. Lawrence delivered one of his strongest performances of the season, throwing three touchdown passes and setting a new franchise record for total touchdowns in a single year. His teammates marked the achievement with a playful gift in the locker room—a diamond-studded mouth grille inspired by a viral AI-generated image—which Lawrence wore while celebrating the division title. Jacksonville finished the regular season 13–4, capturing its third AFC South championship in nine years and surpassing 12 wins for only the second time in the team’s 31-year existence. The Jaguars also swept the Titans for the third time in four seasons. Later in the day, Jacksonville learned it would enter the playoffs as the AFC’s No. 3 seed and host the Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round. Lawrence completed 22 of 30 passes for 255 yards against Tennessee, connecting for touchdowns with Brenton Strange, Parker Washington, and Quintin Morris. After an uneven opening drive, the Jaguars’ offense took control, allowing Lawrence to rest on the sideline for much of the fourth quarter. Tennessee’s afternoon unraveled early when rookie quarterback Cam Ward suffered a shoulder injury while scoring on a scramble during the opening possession. Ward did not return, and backup Brandon Allen struggled to move the offense, throwing an interception that Jacksonville defensive back Antonio Johnson returned 58 yards for a touchdown.

The Jaguars’ defense continued its strong season, recording its 22nd interception—setting a new team record. On special teams, kicker Cam Little added to his historic year by drilling a 67-yard field goal just before halftime, giving him two of the longest successful kicks in NFL history in a single season. Lawrence closed the regular season with 38 total touchdowns—29 passing and nine rushing—surpassing the previous franchise mark. He also climbed to second place on the Jaguars’ all-time passing yards list, trailing only Mark Brunell. With momentum firmly on their side, Jacksonville now turns its focus to the postseason, where it will return to EverBank Stadium next weekend to face Buffalo.
