No. 3 UCLA Extends Winning Streak With 80–46 Victory Over Northwestern.

EVANSTON, Ill. — Gabriela Jaquez scored 19 points as No. 3 UCLA cruised to an 80–46 win over Northwestern on Sunday, marking the Bruins’ 13th consecutive victory. Lauren Betts contributed 16 points, while Kiki Rice recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for UCLA (19–1, 9–0 Big Ten). The Bruins never trailed in the game and remained tied with No. 10 Iowa atop the Big Ten standings. UCLA took a 21–14 lead after the first quarter and closed the first half with a dominant 15–2 run to head into halftime ahead 46–22. Northwestern struggled offensively in the second quarter, making only three field goals and failing to score in the final 4:57 before the break. Northwestern attempted to slow Betts with early double teams, but the 6-foot-7 center effectively passed out of pressure, finishing with six assists. UCLA also controlled the boards, outrebounding the Wildcats 44–25, and continued its trend of decisive conference wins, outscoring Big Ten opponents by an average of 27.8 points per game.

Grace Sullivan led Northwestern (8–12, 2–7 Big Ten) with 21 points. The Wildcats have now dropped 12 of their last 14 games. UCLA will visit Illinois on Wednesday, while Northwestern is set to travel to No. 24 Nebraska.
