A dominant performance in the first set and offensive show by Luper in the second set, Louisville overwhelmed Stanford at key points of the match. Although Stanford climbed back at the end of the last two sets, it was never enough to overcome Louisville offensive success Luper put together a season-high in kills with 18, while DeBeer finished with 10. Alongside the two leading the match in kills, they combined for 28 of the team's 44 kills. Louisville improves to 10-2 and Stanford falls to 9-2.
