Olivia Olson Leads No. 7 Michigan to 73-67 Comeback Win Over USC.

Olivia Olson scored 23 points as No. 7 Michigan overcame a second-half rally by USC to secure a 73-67 victory on Sunday in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Wolverines, now 17-3 overall and 8-1 in the Big Ten, have won six of their last seven games. Mila Holloway contributed 13 points, eight assists, and six rebounds, while Brooke Quarles Daniels added 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Syla Swords and Ashley Sofilkanich each scored 10 points, helping Michigan maintain an undefeated 11-0 record at home. For USC, Kara Dunn led the Trojans with 26 points and 10 rebounds, marking her sixth consecutive game with 20 or more points. Londynn Jones scored 12 points, and Jazzy Davidson finished with 11 points and seven assists as USC fell to 11-9 overall and 3-6 in conference play, losing six of its last seven games. USC overcame a 16-point deficit early in the third quarter, going on a 27-5 run to take a six-point lead. Davidson sparked the rally with a three-point play, while Dunn scored 11 points during the run, including two three-point plays and a three-pointer. Michigan responded with a 13-0 run to start the fourth quarter, with Olson scoring in the lane and Holloway hitting a three-pointer to give the Wolverines a 66-58 lead. USC would not get closer than four points the rest of the game.
Olson was perfect from the field in the first quarter, making all five of her attempts as Michigan built a 23-11 lead. A late three-pointer by Swords extended the lead to 16 points, 40-24, at halftime, before USC trimmed it to 40-27 by the break. Michigan will travel to Indiana on Thursday, while USC hosts Iowa.
