Marcell Ozuna and Michael Harris II each launched three-run home runs to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 12-4 come-from-behind win over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night at Truist Park. Trailing 4-1 entering the bottom of the sixth, the Braves stormed back with a six-run inning capped by Harris’ game-tying blast and Ozuna’s go-ahead shot an inning later. The win marked a statement performance from an Atlanta offense that had been searching for a spark—and found it in dramatic fashion. Ozuna’s homer to left off Rockies reliever Victor Vodnik (1-2) drove in Alex Verdugo and Matt Olson, breaking a 4-4 tie and electrifying the home crowd. Olson finished the night with three hits and three RBIs, continuing a hot streak that has helped anchor the middle of Atlanta’s lineup.

“Big-time players step up in big moments,” manager Brian Snitker said after the game. “Marcell and Michael both came through when we needed it most.”

Colorado had taken an early lead behind Ryan McMahon’s towering 441-foot home run in the first inning off Braves starter Bryce Elder. McMahon had three hits on the night, and Michael Toglia added an RBI single to stretch the Rockies' advantage to 4-1 in the sixth.

But Atlanta responded quickly. Harris’ homer off Jake Bird tied the game, erasing Colorado’s momentum in one swing. Ronald Acuña Jr. set the tone early with a leadoff double and later added two singles and a stolen base—his first since returning from knee surgery that sidelined him for nearly a year. The night also featured a poignant moment when former Braves infielder Orlando Arcia—recently signed by the Rockies—received a standing ovation in his first at-bat back in Atlanta. Arcia tipped his helmet to the fans before singling past shortstop Nick Allen in the second inning. Enyel De Los Santos (2-2) earned the win with a scoreless seventh inning, keeping the Rockies at bay as Atlanta’s offense continued to pour it on late. With the victory, the Braves improved their standing in the NL East, while the Rockies dropped to a dismal 13-56 overall and 6-29 on the road—matching one of the worst road starts in franchise history. The series continues Saturday night as Braves right-hander Spencer Strider (0-5, 5.40 ERA) seeks his first win of the season against Rockies rookie Chase Dollander (2-6, 6.85 ERA).
