 The Arizona Cardinals are the home team against Seattle this week but this past week Arizons did drop their game to San fransisco but it was not Brock purdy at Quarterback it was Mac Jones. That is not a good look for Arizona. Will they be able to handle the Seahawks ? The Cardinals have dropped many routine balls and just have not scored plenty in their games thus far and this a short week for both teams. Arizona is also missing runningback James Connor for the year so they are going to need to figure out without him. Seattle right now is for sure the more complete team but as in years past these two teams seem to keep it close as we all remember when former wide receiver for seattle DK Metcalf ran all the way across the field to save the pick six a couple years back in Arizona. Both teams have their fair share of injuries but I see this game to be close because of the history of these two teams. 

      Seattle coming off their dominant win over New Orleans does them well and having their confidence boosted heading into this game against Arizona. Quarterback for Seattle Sam Darnold has been showing consistency as he has completed 70% of his passes each game and sacks very minimal so far.  Seattle with their consistency and Arizona being unsure  without James Connor could play well for Seattle. Seattle’s defense has thus far been stingy and opportunistic. They generate pressure with minimal blitzing and can challenge Arizona’s weakened offensive front.Arizona’s defense is solid, especially in red-zone, third-down, and run defense. But they will be tested more heavily than so far this season.Walter Nolen, their top draft pick interior DL, is unavailable for the seasArizona’s offense has shown struggles over first three games of 2025 with run consistency; their EPA rankings (rush/pass) for 2025 have dipped relative to expectations.on start, reducing their ability to generate interior push in run defense and pass rush.

       They locked in TE Trey McBride with a long extension, showing he’s a trusted target in their scheme and a structural piece.So the narrative: their defense and pass game still have upside, but their diminished rushing capability makes them more one-dimensional. That means problems if Seattle can force them into obvious passing situations.

      For Seattle , Because Arizona’s run game is weakened, Seattle may be able to lean into play-action, drop-back passing, and force Arizona into nickel or sub-packages.Seattle’s roster is among the younger ones in the NFL this year, which suggests potential for fast, twitchy play, depth, and (potentially) less wear‑and‑tear.Seattle already scored a 95-yard punt return touchdown in 2025, something that can swing momentum. Thus meaning Seattle can also rely on their special teams to step up if needed as Seattle does gain a lot of yards on most of their Kick returns. Expecting this game to be a close stay tuned to see if Arizona can bounce back after their loss to San Francisco or does Seattle continue to show dominance in week 4.
