Q & A with Telli Swift and others Navigating the Intersection of Entrepreneurship, Social Media, and Philanthropy"

Telli Swift stopped by for a Q&A with a group of speakers at Women's edition 54th Elevator Nights by aspire tour. Elevator nights is an experience bringing together some of the most successful and affluent individuals around the world. Talking is the magic everyone needs. When people speak, they can express ideas, feelings, beliefs, and it is through speech that we come to triumph. Some prefer to speak privately. Others like to speak in public. Whatever each person's preference, talking is an act of freedom!

Once a quarter Dan Fleyshman throw a “Shark Tank” style event in LA called “Elevator Night” which is free of charge for 12 companies to pitch to hundreds investors for minutes each on stage.  It’s an experience bringing together some of the most successful and affluent individuals around the globe for a half day, full night opportunity to invest in a selection of hand-picked and committee reviewed companies. 

Presenting companies must be raising less than $1,000,001 and around half of them get funded on average, but 100% of them make great relationships from my network of active angel investor friends that want to see them succeed. People often ask Dan why we throw this event for free for the start-up’s to present and free for the 100’s of guests to attend when there’s so much expense, time & effort in putting this together. Alongside her social media work, Telli is an entrepreneur previously undertaking public speaking work to help women empower themselves. Telli’s passion for talking and interviewing others has led to the creation of her own podcast “Telli Talks” which is available on Spotify and Dash radio. Telli has interviewed top Doctors comedians, artist, athletes and many more – being one of the first women to cross collaborate on both audio streaming platforms.

When it comes to her passion for helping others, Telli is the founder of the Boxing Wags Association, which is a not-for-profit company that aims to raise funds and deliver them into the hands of service providers and non-profits who support children and families in a variety of ways. Her events have been significant in raising awareness and funds for women with breast cancer, children with autism and those with Spina Bifida. The Boxing WAGs Association’s most recent event raised over $25,000 in funds on behalf of Brighter Future Charity – a charity for children suffering from autism and much more. It was the first event for charity amidst the pandemic.

Telli also has a great eye for fashion, not only having modelled in both the NY and LA fashion week but also has launched her own fashion design collections. Telli launched her very own unisex outerwear collection named Imperium in the Los Angeles Fashion Week 2019 (which made the cover of Elle Europe and Cosmopolitan Ukraine). More recently, during the pandemic, Telli also released a limited range of luxurious 4-way masks which were sold online and in the Beverly Center in Traffik and Neiman Marcus. With every purchase of one of her masks, a second mask was donated to frontline workers throughout the pandemic. Recently, Telli and her fiancé, Deontay Wilder, have released their very own luxurious unisex fragrance named D’Telli.

D’Telli is a romantic tribute to their relationship, connecting them and other couples on a deeper level, through the sense of scent.
