Marina Mabrey led the way with a standout performance, scoring 26 points while knocking down six three-pointers. Brittney Sykes added a strong all-around effort with 18 points, eight rebounds, and six assists as Toronto improved to 1–1 on the young season. The turning point came in the third quarter, when Toronto ripped off an 18–6 run to seize control at 65–56.
