This upcoming week is going to be a well anticipated match up between the Ralston Valley Mustangs and the Valor Christian Eagles. Both teams have plenty of history and down to the wire games. Valor would end up taking the win in the last time these two faced off last season. This time Ralston Valley will be the home team. Ralston Valley has had some key plays during their season and players such as Zeke Andrews, Levi Rillios, Ethan Shariazi, Nico Benallo making plays on the offense. The Mustangs have been looking solid in their first 4 games of the season but this upcoming week having a matchup against Valor the Mustangs look to have the same objective and win.
Quarterback Zeke Andrews has thrown for a total of 12 touchdown passes , as well as being ranked number 3 in passing yards up until week five of the season. He has not done it alone with the help of Ethan Sharazi, Levi Rillios , Nico benallo , Evan Sharzi , Brady Warren. The offensive line has been able to give these players the protection they need to execute on plays . Let's look on the defense side for the Mustangs. Hunter Essenpresis 6 solo tackles , 17 assists averaging 5 tackles a game. Brady Warren 7 solo tackles , 6 assist 3 tackles per game and 6 assist. This defense likes to rally on tackles and make team tackles . This Ralston Valley team has been playing their way this season and have had success so far in the season. But are now looking at their opponent this week Valor, the Mustangs are currently ranked 4 so far on the season. The number two Valor Christian Eagles have won their first 4 games of the season as well including 1 out of state game against Faith Lutheran. Valor Quarterback Dawson Olk currently has 390 passing yards but he has not done it alone either with the help of Jackson Coleman, Cash Spence , Chase Honosh, Luke Burst. Valor as well has been cruising past all of their teams they have played so far this season. Valor has been able to use the ground game as well as their running back Chase Honosh 66.5 yards per game along with Channing Fox and Quarterback Dawson Olk. Both The Valor Christian and the Ralston Valley Mustangs will put their teams to the test. Both offenses and defense from both teams have been firing on all cylinders. This is going to be an instant classic between these two another night to remember at NAAC stadium.
