Colorado School of Mines in recent years has dominated the RMAC division whether it was making it to the playoffs year after year or finishing with undefeated records in the regular season. The Mines football program making it to the title game isn't something new for them. Mines football program has always been able to recruit and get strong upperclassmen but the well received coaching as well from the program. Mines is pushing for a win now mindset because in the most recent time they have been able to bring players back with eligibility remaining. This is their time to do it with a strong core and the experience they have to push for a division two championship. Mines Football has been making upgrades to their Mav Key stadium throughout the years; it's such a nice visual stadium to play at with the mountains in the background. The head coach of Mines football has thought of creating a new stadium and pushing for this win now mindset. Head Coach Bobb Sitt said:
"I don't have five years neither do the seniors or juniors.”
Meaning nobody knows how much time they have but the Mines roster is strong so this would be their time to make adjustments, bring in more players and make a heavy push similar to the 2021/2023 season. The Mines program has such different opportunities to make their offense fit with their strong academic athletes and create an offense that only Mines can understand. Mines football is the team that collaborates with one another in creating a strong base which allows them to succeed later on in the season. This athletic and academic team is going to be something to watch out for this season.
