Wrobleski Dominates as Dodgers End Skid with 4–1 Win Over Cardinals.

ST. LOUIS — The Los Angeles Dodgers got back on track Sunday afternoon, riding a strong outing from Justin Wrobleski to a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Wrobleski delivered six scoreless innings, scattering six hits while issuing just one walk to improve to 5-0 on the season. Tanner Scott handled the ninth to secure his second save, helping Los Angeles snap a four-game skid. Offensively, the Dodgers built an early cushion. Andy Pages sparked the scoring in the second inning with an RBI double, and Hyeseong Kim followed with a run-scoring single to make it 2-0. In the fifth, Freddie Freeman added a two-out RBI single to extend the lead to three. The Cardinals, who had entered the game on a six-game winning streak, struggled to generate offense against Wrobleski. Their lone run came in the eighth inning when Alec Burleson drove in Jordan Walker with a line-drive single. Shohei Ohtani went hitless in three at-bats for Los Angeles, drawing a walk and getting hit by a pitch. He is now mired in a 0-for-14 stretch over his last four games, his longest drought since a five-game hitless run in 2022 during his time with the Los Angeles Angels. On the mound for St. Louis, Dustin May allowed three runs on seven hits across six innings. The outing marked his first appearance against the Dodgers since being traded last July. Looking ahead, the Dodgers will open a three-game series in Houston with Yoshinobu Yamamoto scheduled to start. Meanwhile, the Cardinals return home to Busch Stadium, where Kyle Leahy is set to face Chad Patrick and the Milwaukee Brewers in their next series.
