Yessoufou Scores 27 as Baylor Cruises Past Colorado, 86-67.

WACO, Texas – Tounde Yessoufou led Baylor with 27 points as the Bears defeated Colorado 86-67 on Wednesday in Big 12 conference action. Baylor (13-9, 3-7 Big 12) took control early, building a 45-21 lead by halftime thanks to strong shooting and multiple 3-pointers. Yessoufou shot 10 of 16 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds, while the Bears converted 53 percent of their overall shots and 42 percent from beyond the arc.

Cameron Carr and Obi Agbim each contributed 19 points, combining for six 3-pointers. Carr also added eight rebounds and six assists, and Agbim recorded six assists. Baylor made 20 of 25 free throws and out-rebounded Colorado 32-26. Colorado (13-10, 3-7 Big 12) was unable to cut the deficit below double digits in the second half despite a bench surge. Ian Inman scored 10 points on 4-for-6 shooting, including two 3-pointers, while Jalin Holland added 12. Barrington Hargress finished with 11 points, and Isaiah Johnson added 10 points and four assists.


The Buffaloes shot 40 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range and outscored Baylor 46-41 in the second half. However, the Bears responded to every run, extending their lead to 70-41 on a jumper by Carr with 8:27 left, maintaining control through the final buzzer.
