Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix continues to add his name to the NFL record books as the regular season comes to a close. With a potential win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18, Nix could tie an all-time league mark for victories by a quarterback in his first two seasons. Currently, Nix has accumulated 23 wins through his first two years in the NFL, placing him second in league history. The only quarterback ahead of him is former Broncos signal-caller Russell Wilson, who earned 24 wins over the same span. A victory on Sunday would allow Nix to match that total and further cement his early career success.

This season has already been filled with milestones for the young quarterback. Nix recently became just the third player in NFL history to record at least 3,500 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes in each of his first two seasons. He now shares that distinction with Justin Herbert and Peyton Manning. Entering Week 18, Nix has thrown for 3,790 yards and 25 touchdowns. Head coach Sean Payton praised Nix’s performance following Denver’s Week 17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, highlighting his ability to deliver key plays in challenging moments. That win also placed Nix among an exclusive group of Broncos quarterbacks—alongside John Elway, Peyton Manning, and Kyle Orton—who have won a December game at Arrowhead Stadium.

After the game, Nix reflected on the strategy required to beat Kansas City’s defense, explaining that patience and efficiency were critical. Rather than focusing on big passing numbers, he emphasized completing short throws, sustaining drives, and consistently moving the chains. As the Broncos prepare for their final matchup of the season, Nix stands on the verge of tying another historic achievement, further underscoring his rapid rise and importance to the franchise’s future.
