Murray-Boyles Scores 17 as Raptors Sweep Hawks with 118-100 Victory.

Toronto Raptors rookie Collin Murray-Boyles scored 17 points, along with seven rebounds and seven assists, leading Toronto to a 118-100 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night. Murray-Boyles started in place of injured center Jakob Poeltl, who was sidelined with a back strain but had been cleared for contact prior to the game. Scottie Barnes contributed a near triple-double with 18 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds, helping the Raptors complete a two-game sweep of Atlanta. Toronto previously defeated the Hawks 134-117 on Saturday. Brandon Ingram added 19 points and nine rebounds, as seven Raptors reached double figures in scoring. For Atlanta, Jalen Johnson recorded 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Onyeka Okongwu posted 17 points and 12 rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis returned to the Hawks’ lineup after missing the second game of a back-to-back, scoring nine points in 20 minutes off the bench. Hawks guard Trae Young remained sidelined with a right quadriceps contusion. Both teams struggled from beyond the arc, but Atlanta’s overall shooting was particularly weak. The Hawks made 35 of 89 field goal attempts (39.3%), including 12 of 34 from three-point range. Toronto, meanwhile, dominated the paint, outscoring Atlanta 64-44 and shooting 47 of 90 from the field (52.2%).

The Hawks will face the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Wednesday, while the Raptors will travel to take on the Charlotte Hornets.
