The Orlando Magic rallying in the fourth quarter to secure a narrow win over the Toronto Raptors after a tightly contested game that featured multiple momentum swings and strong defensive stretches.

Toronto controlled much of the first half with balanced scoring and consistent pressure inside, taking a 65 to 54 lead into halftime behind efficient finishes from Gradey Dick and steady play from Scottie Barnes. The Raptors moved the ball well and created high quality looks while limiting Orlando’s transition chances early.

Orlando stayed within reach by forcing turnovers and generating second chance opportunities. Paolo Banchero began to assert himself late in the second quarter, setting the tone for a more aggressive approach after the break as the Magic gradually closed the gap.

Banchero finished with 28 points and emerged as the focal point down the stretch, scoring in traffic and creating for teammates in critical moments. Anthony Black added 27 points and applied constant defensive pressure, disrupting Toronto’s rhythm and fueling key runs. Orlando’s length and activity on defense limited clean looks as the game tightened late.

Toronto continued to get contributions across the roster, with Barnes scoring 13 points and multiple players reaching double figures. The Raptors showed improved ball movement and defensive effort compared to recent outings, a positive sign as the season timeline continues.

Late game execution ultimately swung the result. Missed free throws and empty possessions in the final minutes opened the door for Orlando to take control. What this means for Toronto is a renewed focus on closing discipline and consistency, while Orlando’s outlook continues to trend upward as its young core delivers in pressure situations.
