ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 25, 2025 — The Chicago Bulls stayed hot while the Orlando Magic went ice-cold from deep, as Josh Giddey led a balanced Bulls attack to a 110–98 victory Saturday night at the Kia Center. Giddey paced Chicago with 21 points and eight rebounds, guiding the Bulls to a 2–0 start on the young season. Jalen Smith added 16 points off the bench, while Ayo Dosunmu and Nikola Vučević chipped in 15 apiece. Four Bulls reserves finished in double figures, underscoring the team’s improved depth early in the campaign.

After a tightly contested three quarters, the Bulls took control behind Dosunmu’s sharpshooting in the final period. The fourth-year guard buried three straight 3-pointers in the quarter, igniting a decisive Chicago run. Smith followed with another triple that stretched a slim 83–80 lead into a comfortable 94–85 advantage. The Magic never seriously threatened after that. “We just stayed composed,” Giddey said postgame. “Our bench gave us great energy, and everyone trusted the pass. That’s how we want to play.”

Orlando, meanwhile, struggled mightily from long range. The Magic hit just 3 of 24 attempts from beyond the arc (12.5%) and shot 39% overall. Paolo Banchero led all scorers with 24 points and 10 rebounds but needed 21 shots to get there. Rookie guard Anthony Black impressed with 19 points, while Franz Wagner added 17.

Despite Banchero’s efforts, the Magic fell to 1–2 on the season, unable to overcome their perimeter woes and sluggish offensive rhythm. Chicago’s bench outscored Orlando’s 58–31, a key factor in the Bulls’ second straight double-digit win to open the season. The Bulls will look to stay undefeated when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. The Magic continue their early-season road trip with a visit to Philadelphia the same night.
