SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 27, 2025 — Jonathan Kuminga recorded 25 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, and the Golden State Warriors used a dominant third quarter to pull away from the Memphis Grizzlies for a 131-118 victory Monday night at Chase Center.
Brandin Podziemski added 23 points and six assists, while Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler each scored 20 in a balanced Warriors effort that featured six players in double figures. Stephen Curry contributed 16 points as Golden State notched its third win in four games.
Draymond Green orchestrated the offense with 10 assists before fouling out midway through the fourth quarter. He also drew attention for his antics late in the third, receiving a flagrant-1 foul for grabbing Santi Aldama from behind on a breakaway. When Aldama missed both technical free throws, Green playfully celebrated to the delight of the Chase Center crowd. Aldama finished with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists for Memphis. Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 23 points and nine assists but struggled from long range, missing all six of his 3-point attempts. Jock Landale chipped in 17 points and six rebounds off the bench.
Golden State blew the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Memphis 36–25. Moody hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a surge that pushed the lead to double digits, and Curry followed with a deep triple moments later. The Warriors’ ball movement — and their shooting — overwhelmed the Grizzlies down the stretch.
Head coach Steve Kerr had emphasized the importance of better ball security after recent turnover issues, but the Warriors still committed 15 miscues that led to 18 Memphis points. “We’re still working on that,” Kerr said. “But I loved our energy and how we shared the ball tonight.”
Rookie guard Will Richard made his home debut against the team that drafted him in the second round before trading his rights to Golden State. Veteran big man Al Horford sat out with a left toe injury, with Kerr opting to rest him for Tuesday’s matchup against the taller Los Angeles Clippers.
The victory marked Golden State’s seventh straight home win over Memphis, a streak dating back to October 2021.
